The conversation, on the customer
Every thread against the lead or customer it belongs to, tagged as one or the other — not a separate address book that has to be matched up afterwards.
Mobile Companion
Mobile Companion is the KaryalayOne mobile app for the people who work away from a desk. Calls made and taken on the business number, the call recordings that go with them, and WhatsApp Business — all landing on the same customers and leads your office is already working in. It is not a report you carry about; it is where the record gets made.
A dashboard is a report you carry. This is where the record is made.
Almost everything sold as a mobile app for a business system is the same screens, smaller — figures to glance at between meetings, written by somebody else back at the office. This is different in kind and not in size. The part of the day that usually vanishes — who rang whom, what was actually said, what got promised — stops depending on somebody remembering to write it down when they get back.
Nothing below is a plan. It is what the app does today, on an ordinary handset, against the same customer list the counter machine reads.
One call, end to end
Nobody opened the app. Nobody filled anything in. The call left the handset on its own and found the customer it belonged to, and the recording followed it.
On the customer’s record, in the office
Nobody typed any of it, and nobody was asked to remember to.
And because it is a record like any other, it is now something the office can work with: the outcome can be set, a follow-up dated, the call handed to somebody else — from the handset or from the desk, and either way it is the same record changing. The number nobody has a name against yet is the one the app puts in front of you, because that is the lead you did not know you had.
The other half of the conversation
Your customers do not ring as often as they message. That half of the day belongs on the record too. The conversations are in this app; sending to many, the automatic replies and the figures run from the office screen, on the same records — with the WhatsApp extra on Sales, and not from a service somebody bought elsewhere.
Every thread against the lead or customer it belongs to, tagged as one or the other — not a separate address book that has to be matched up afterwards.
The price change, the festival offer, the delivery notice — out to the list, from the same records that say who is on it.
The answer your team types over and over — saved once, and put in with a tap.
The wording that has to go out the same way every time, kept as a form rather than retyped from the last one.
An answer to the first message at ten at night, and a set path a conversation can follow before anybody picks it up.
Read against sent, answered against ignored — for the numbers you already have on the records.
Why it matters that it is ours
Most suites will show you calls on a phone and messages in a browser. Look at where they come from: an app that is another company's, a messaging service that is somebody else's again, and your customer list joined to both by whoever was willing to — each charged as an extra, each with its own renewal, and all of it yours to look after on the morning it stops.
How others do it An app from another company, wired into your records by somebody and charged on top.
How it goes here Comes off the handset by itself, onto the customer that number belongs to.
How others do it Left on the handset, or kept in a service you pay for separately — and gone with the phone when its owner leaves.
How it goes here Kept against the customer, in your own system, long after that person has gone.
How others do it Bought from another company again, and connected to your customer list by somebody else.
How it goes here Ours, in the same app and against the same records.
How others do it Two companies, each of them reasonably sure it is the other one’s end.
How it goes here One company to ask, and nobody here can tell you it is somebody else’s fault.
How others do it Another company’s bill, and another renewal to remember.
How it goes here On your own bill, with everything else you have from us.
Ours was never separate in the first place. The calls, the recordings and the messaging are part of the same system as your customer list, your quotations and your bills — so there is one company to ask, one bill, and nothing between the phone and the record that anybody has to keep working.
“Your personal SIM is never read.”
Not a promise made on a website. The app lists everything it has asked for in plain words with your answer beside each one, and the calls it carries are the ones made on the business number the person holding the phone picked out of the handset themselves. The other number in the same phone — the one the family rings — is not its business, and it says so before it is granted anything at all.
Getting it
There is no store link on this page, and that is not an oversight. The Companion is not something anybody goes off and finds for themselves — it comes with the system. We put it on the handsets it belongs on, and each one is signed in against your own setup by reading a pairing code your own system puts on the screen. Nothing is typed, and nothing is guessed at.
After that there is one decision, and the person holding the phone makes it: which of the numbers in the handset is the business one. Everything else is set by whoever runs your system, and the phone picks the change up the next time the app is opened.
Bring a number your team actually rings. We will show you where the call lands, what the office has the moment it ends, and what is still there long after the person who made it has left.
