The endings are not ours
Every ending belongs to whoever runs it; we buy from them and sell to you. So we cannot hold a name past the point their own rules take it back, we cannot set aside what they charge to return one, and we will not name the hour a move finishes by — the far end is not ours to promise, and a date we invented would be worse than none.
Nothing here watches for trouble on your behalf
A site that has stopped reading your records writes down when it last succeeded and why it last failed, and keeps trying. Nothing rings you, and nothing counts how old a reading has become — somebody has to look. We would rather say that here than have you find it out on a bad morning.
A setting on a name held elsewhere has to be made there
Where your name is registered somewhere else, we can tell you exactly what to add against it and say when it has become visible. Adding it is not something we can do from here, which is why that step waits on somebody at your end rather than on us.
A site somebody else built stays theirs to keep running
It can read your records through a key you issue and take back, limited to what you allow, and that door is open to whatever you already have. What we look after is what we built — bringing us a site we have never seen is a conversation rather than a fault report.
The workshop floor is not in this
KaryalayOne runs the office around a workshop rather than anything standing on its floor. If what has stopped is a run rather than a record, this is not where it gets sorted out, and we would rather say so than take the question.
