The second year is the one to look at
Endings are not priced alike, and what one costs to start has little to do with what it costs to keep. Both figures are on every result above, the same size, always.
Find a name
We ask the register now, and every answer carries both prices.
Worth knowing
None of this is ours and none of it is negotiable. All of it is easier to hear now than in an email six weeks from now.

Anyone can look up who a name is registered to. Some endings let those details be kept off that listing and some do not — that is settled by whoever runs the ending, not by us.
After a name is registered or transferred there is commonly a wait before it can move again. Whether it applies and for how long depends on the ending. It is the register’s rule and there is no way around it.
A message goes to the address on the registration asking you to confirm it is real. A name whose address was never confirmed gets suspended — and that takes the website and the mail down with it. We chase it rather than leaving you to find out.
Stuck on something
A name mid-transfer, an account you have lost the password to, a registrar that has stopped answering — tell us what is actually going on and somebody here will work out what it needs. Checking a name you are still deciding on belongs here too.
