Branches with their own GST identity, and a role for every person

Multi-branch software for Indian businesses: every branch its own name, GST numbers, logo and records, and roles deciding what each person may do there.

What it does

Branches, the people in them, and their roles

Each branch keeps its own identity and records. Each person works in the branches they are given, with a role in each.

Branches

Its own legal identity
Legal name, GST number and any other registration or tax IDs, legal address with its state, and the contacts for legal and billing.
On its invoices
Each invoice prints its branch’s logo and tax IDs, and the branch’s state, set against the customer’s, decides CGST and SGST or IGST.
Its own look
Brand name, logos for light and dark backgrounds, a favicon and social links.
Its own clock and currency
Time zone, date and time format, currency and number separators — set for India to begin with.
Its own records
Customers, stock, invoices, leads and staff belong to a branch. Every list shows the branch you are in.
Head office, and closing
Only the owner opens a new branch. One can be marked as head office and listed first, and a branch is closed rather than deleted, to be reopened later.

People in branches

More than one branch
A person can be given several branches, one of them their primary — the one they land in when they sign in.
A role in each
A role is given for one branch or for all of them, and what someone may do is worked out for the branch they are in.
The owner sees every branch
The account owner can enter every open branch. Everyone else reaches only the branches they are given.
Switched off when they leave
A sign-in switched off can no longer sign in, and its seat is free again. Their records stay, and it can be switched back on.

Roles

About forty ready-made
Viewer and manager roles across the parts — Sales Person, Inventory Clerk, Payroll Viewer and the rest. They are fixed, so they always mean the same.
Your own roles
Named and described, for one branch or all, with permissions ticked part by part: view, create, edit, delete, export and more.
Changed as you go
Your own roles can be edited at any time, and removed once nobody holds them.
Admins below the owner
An admin cannot make another admin or an owner. Only the owner can.

Their own, or the branch’s

Held to their own
A role can keep a person to the leads they made or were given, with those leads’ calls, meetings, visits and tasks. CRM
Their own staff pages
Or to their own employee record, their own attendance and leave, their own claims, and the forms they made.
The branch’s, elsewhere
Customers, quotations, invoices, payments, orders, projects, the catalogue and stock are seen branch-wide by anyone whose role opens them.
Prices kept back
Selling price, MRP and cost price can be hidden from people who only view the catalogue, branch by branch.

Roles per branch

One person, two branches, two roles

A role is given for a branch, not only for a person. Someone who works in two branches can hold a different role in each.

One sign-in, two branches

She has one sign-in and belongs to two branches. The first is her primary, the one she lands in when she signs in.

Admin in her own

There she holds Admin, the ready-made role for the head of a branch.

Invoice Viewer in the other

In the second she holds only Invoice Viewer. She can read that branch’s invoices and change none of them.

Worked out where she is

What she may do is read from the branch she is in: the roles she holds there, and any she was given for every branch.

Hand-offs

Branches and roles in employees, leads, invoices and the log

What branches and roles decide in the parts around them, and where to read about each.

  1. Employees →

Sign-ins are made for the people on your rolls. Link one to an employee record and it comes with their own profile, attendance and claims pages.

  2. CRM →

A role can hold a salesperson to the leads they made or were given, while another role opens the whole branch’s.

  3. Invoices →

Each invoice carries its branch’s logo and tax IDs, and its GST is worked from that branch’s state and the customer’s.

  4. Activity logs →

Sign-ins, failed sign-ins, and each sign-in made, changed, switched off or given a role are kept where the owner can read them back.

Every part has its own line in a role’s permissions, so a role reaches only the parts you tick — see every part.

What it costs

The price of branches and roles

Branches and roles have no price of their own. They come with whichever set you choose.

Across the office

Includedwith every set, at no extra charge

Workforce, Sales, Operations or Finance — whichever you buy, branches and roles come with it.

More branches on request
Several branches come with every account, and more when you ask. Only the owner opens a new one, and a closed branch stops counting.
Your own roles, the same way
Several of your own come with every account, and more when you ask. The ready-made roles are always there.
Sign-ins are seats
Each person who signs in takes one of the seats your sets are bought for. A sign-in switched off frees its seat.

Questions about branches and roles

What an owner with more than one branch asks before handing out sign-ins — including where the answer is no.

Not in one list. Every list shows the branch you are in, and the owner can go into each branch to see its records. Two reports are the exception: attendance and reimbursement claims can be reported across all branches at once.

No. People sign in with their email and a password of at least eight characters. You can make someone choose a new password when they next sign in, and a forgotten password is reset with a six-digit code sent by email, which needs the outgoing mail that comes with the Email add-on. The office can also set a new password for them.

Their own leads, yes: a role can hold them to the leads they made or were given. Customers, quotations and invoices cannot be held that way — anyone whose role opens them sees the whole branch’s.

No. There is no IP limit, no sign-in hours and no list of the devices someone is signed in on. What you can do is switch a sign-in off: it can no longer sign in, and it can be switched back on later.

No. Quotations, invoices and payment receipts each run in one series across all your branches. What differs by branch is what is printed on them: that branch’s logo and tax IDs.

Switch their sign-in off. They can no longer sign in, the seat is free for someone else, and everything they recorded stays where it was. Switch it back on if they return.
